About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Set up and operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions
Perform problem solving and trouble shoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards
Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by process/machine
Routinely check process/machine for basic maintenance and take correct action in a timely matter
Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems
Meet the skill requirements identified in the applicable training matrix, and maintain certification through company Certified Operator Program

Requirements

What you’ll need

Grade 12 diploma
Equivalent machining background or mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret production prints
Adequate computer skills to access production procedures
Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment
Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas
Required to train other operators as needed

Competitive wages – starting rate: $28.85; top rate: $33.10 per hour + shift premiums
