Sales Account Manager – Industrial Bearings
SchaefflerSales Account Manager responsible for managing partnerships and customer satisfaction at Schaeffler. Seeking candidates with strong technical and commercial background in sales and engineering.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As account owner, responsible for all Schaeffler activities with assigned partners and prospects
- Steering and responsibility for customer satisfaction
- Budget responsibility for revenue, profitability and growth within the framework of compliance and other applicable rules (e.g. competition law)
- Active acquisition, development and setup of new partners, as well as strategic development of existing partners
- Execution of price and contract negotiations within framework of relevant approval guidelines
- Identification of end customer and partner specific requirements and definition of solutions (e.g. supply models, logistics, digital solutions)
- Documentation of market potentials, opportunities, customer contacts and all activities in CRM
- Responsibility for sales planning and budgeting ("Sales360)
- Contribution to and implementation of sales support campaigns and initiatives
- Active acquisition, marketing and training support for partners
- Establishment and maintenance of contacts with associations and organizations and using these contacts for strategic market development
- Following of competitor activities
- Common customer visits to end customers considering competition rules
- Evaluation, training & motivation of partners’ sales team
- Identification of main sectors, focus customers, applications with the partners
- Checking warehouse, understanding stock requirements
- Implementation of Schaeffler Corporate Identity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering (mechanical, robotics, ...)
- Strong technical and commercial background
- Professional experience in the field of managing sales >5 years
- Experience in channel management
- Proven record of success with the entire sales cycle, from planning to closing
- Experience in project management
- Effective collaboration in a matrix environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit, reliability, and commitment
- Strong drive for results
- Very good English proficiency
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 70%)
- Previous experience in bearing business is a plus.
