About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop innovative and competitive embedded systems (Hard- and Software) with smart control functions, advanced firmware functionalities, field bus communication and analytics.
Define hard- and software architectures based on customer requirements.
Do electronics designs, like schematics, dimensioning of components and layouts of PCBs.
Create firmware for the developed hardware.
Implement solutions starting from mock-ups, through prototypes to full scale manufacturing.
Perform verification and validation for each stage of the design.
Consult manufacturing teams for product lifecycle management.
Work in a global project setup with customers, sales and suppliers.
Collaborate and drive projects across borders with our internal and external development teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Academic degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent
At least 3 years working experience in developing embedded hard- and software and managing projects with a hands-on mentality
Proficient experience in designing electronics circuits and boards, ideally experience in Altium Designer
Experience in programming / scripting languages, such as embedded C/C++ and Python
Ideally experience with common agile development tools as Jira, GIT and CI/DC
Ideally experience with industry standards in EMC, functional safety and bus system like CAN J1939/Open, Ethernet,etc.
Good communication skills, fluent in English to collaborate with international colleagues and customers alike
