Co-Op, Humanoid Robotics – Mechanical Engineering

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Liaise with engineers to understand functionalities, specifications and design requirements of humanoid joint actuators
- Produce comprehensive design solutions in 2D design/surface modeling or 3D design/solid modeling.
- Produce working designs from engineering specifications of mechanical mechanisms, electrical systems, structures, etc.
- Calculate and define key features to meet required functional specifications
- Produce tools or parts list, maintain work documentation and record as appropriate
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and business needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing an academic degree in an engineering field that is applicable to robotics, preferred humanoid robotics
- Maintained a 2.5 GPA or higher
- Self-starter and seeks opportunities to support engineers in their work
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
