Accountant – Contract
SchaefflerAccountant ensuring daily Finance & Accounting processes run properly. Supporting treasury, audit, and taxation tasks in a global technology company.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure daily Finance/Accounting/Audit process (A/R, A/P, G/L Fixed Assets, Treasury, and Audit) run properly in timely manner
- Support Treasury activities and related report including but not limited to Hedging, RGI Applications, Cash Flow Management, Liquidity Planning, Deviation Analysis, etc.
- Coordinate with tax consultant to ensure timely local tax reporting E.g. WHT, DST, FBT, VAT Returns, etc.
- Handle the preparation of supporting documents/annexes in accordance to mandatory checklist and secure the necessary clearances or certifications required for the submission of VAT Refund with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
- Support during tax audit and preparation of supporting schedules and/or documents.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Accounting or Qualified Accountant
- With at least 3-5 years of relevant experience or full sets of Accounting experience
- Knowledge of Finance, Accounting, Taxation and Audit
- With background in SAP systems
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
- Excellent command and communication in English
