About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the development of market analyses and the implementation of category strategies
Define and execute profitable purchasing strategies and effective negotiation tactics for the assigned area, ensuring alignment across functions and divisions
Continuously monitor the supply market and manage the supplier portfolio to optimize quality, cost efficiency, on-time delivery, sustainability, and compliance with contract terms and legal regulations
Negotiate prices and terms within the scope of Supplier Management Assignment (SMA) and oversee contract management with suppliers
Coordinate and manage the assigned category, including purchase price planning and identification of cost-saving projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Management, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing
Proficiency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken
Strong skills in MS Office applications, including PivotTables and Dynamics
International work experience is highly desirable
Experience within the automotive industry is considered an advantage
