About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Quote new product and design changes
  • Review customer blueprints, specifications, and purchase orders
  • Advise customers on bearing design and manufacture
  • Flow customer requirements to internal teams and ensure adherence
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to customers
  • Ensure excellent customer service through timely and professional communication, both virtually and in-person
  • Support the delivery of products through coordination of supply chain, customer approvals, and new qualifications
  • Manage the successful introduction of new product to the production environment using Advanced Product Quality Planning
  • Prepare and conduct negotiations related to product quantities, pricing, and other commercial conditions
  • Collect, evaluate, and report information about market trends, technologies, competitors, and customer development needs
  • Contribute to the budget planning process and plan revenues for the assigned customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or similar degree
  • Ability to work mostly in the office and to travel, as needed
  • Preferred 5 years experience in aerospace or a related field
  • Sales or customer facing experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience working on negotiations is an asset
  • Understanding of mechanical systems and their design
  • Familiarity with ferrous metallurgy
  • Expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail
  • Responsiveness and customer focus
  • Commitment to product quality
  • Goal oriented with good follow-through
  • Inter-personal, teamwork, and leadership skills
  • Effective listening and communication skills
