About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop account and sales strategies from a technical perspective (winning approach, target areas, proposal hypotheses).
  • Propose new technologies and products aligned with Japan OEM development challenges and roadmaps (value propositions, differentiation points).
  • Drive activities toward pre-proposals and opportunity creation (proposal scenarios, internal alignment, decision-making support).
  • Gather customer requirements, identify technical challenges, and present solutions (system to component level).
  • Lead technical coordination and consensus-building with customers and internal teams (BU, R&D, quality, manufacturing).
  • Act as the technical leader for customer teams, guiding reviews and prioritization of issues.
  • Collect and analyze market, competitor, and technology trends in E-Mobility.
  • Build networks with key stakeholders and strengthen technical relationships (regular meetings, technical exchanges).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Practical experience in sales, marketing, or development within the automotive industry.
  • Technical background in powertrain (mechanical, electrical, electronics, control).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with customers (especially development departments) and internal stakeholders.
  • Ownership to define issues and drive planning through execution.
  • Ability to perform duties in line with company guidelines.
  • Business-level English proficiency (capable of collaboration with HQ and overseas sites).
