About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Carry out all sales activities to achieve defined commercial objectives for an assigned market segment.
  • Contribute to the budget planning process and plan own revenues and customer prospects for the assigned market segment.
  • Understand product strategy and consult clients on product applications and variances.
  • Analyze market trends and report on technologies, customers, and competitors.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships and establish acquisition and negotiation boundaries with VLS.
  • Align with cross-functional teams and contribute to budget planning.
  • Prepare, conduct, and close negotiations on product, quantities, and pricing.
  • Monitor and report sales performance metrics for improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • MBO-4 or higher, preferably in the field of mechanics or electronics
  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a similar technical trading environment
  • Knowledge of relevant sales methods and techniques, pricing structure etc.
  • Knowledge of Exact and/or SAP and Salesforce is preferrable
  • Knowledge and understanding of the English language in both written and verbal
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Dutch language in both written and verbal
  • Knowledge and understanding of the German language in both written and verbal is preferred
  • Willingness to travel in Benelux region for business purposes
  • Communicative, independent, teamplayer, open to work in multicultural environment, result oriented, actively seeking new opportunities and challenges
