About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, develop and manage new and existing business opportunities through continuous analysis of market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity
  • Provide technical support, product presentations and training to both customers and Schaeffler distribution partners
  • Develop and implement a regional sales strategy aligned with the Industrial Divisional Strategy
  • Regularly report regional sales performance, forecasts and action plans to the Industrial Sales Director
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records within the Salesforce (CRM) system.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–4 years’ experience in a technical sales role
  • An HND or equivalent qualification in Engineering
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • A proactive, self-motivated and professional approach with a strong customer focus
  • Strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking and the ability to build lasting relationships and networks
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK and overseas as required.
