About the role
- Develop and implement call plans to ensure efficient and effective coverage of customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Provide engineering back up to distributors and end users, both theoretical and hands on
- Ensure all customer calls and information is updated in SalesForce on a regular basis
- Develop market understanding to ensure business growth
- Gain a thorough understanding of Schaeffler products including bearings, maintenance products and condition monitoring systems to effectively communicate value to clients
- Achieve sales targets and provide feedback to management on market activity
- Develop new business through distribution sales channels and end users
Requirements
- Recognised degree / diploma in mechnical engineering or other relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a customer facing technical sales role with a successful track record
- Experience in the rotating equipment field would be highly advantageous
- Strong time management and problem solving skills
- Experience working with distribution partners
- Schaeffler product knowledge would be advantageous
- Willingness to travel throughout Queensland on a regular basis
