About the role

  • Develop and implement call plans to ensure efficient and effective coverage of customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Provide engineering back up to distributors and end users, both theoretical and hands on
  • Ensure all customer calls and information is updated in SalesForce on a regular basis
  • Develop market understanding to ensure business growth
  • Gain a thorough understanding of Schaeffler products including bearings, maintenance products and condition monitoring systems to effectively communicate value to clients
  • Achieve sales targets and provide feedback to management on market activity
  • Develop new business through distribution sales channels and end users

Requirements

  • Recognised degree / diploma in mechnical engineering or other relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a customer facing technical sales role with a successful track record
  • Experience in the rotating equipment field would be highly advantageous
  • Strong time management and problem solving skills
  • Experience working with distribution partners
  • Schaeffler product knowledge would be advantageous
  • Willingness to travel throughout Queensland on a regular basis
