About the role
- Perform research and development for design of electronics for use in automotive applications
- Contribute to the definition, development and management of electrical requirements based on overall system requirements and domain standards.
- Define electrical architecture and develop standard circuit designs in coordination with global teams.
- Participate in quotation, development, testing and launch of electronics for smart actuation systems
- Coordinate the exchange of development-related information and collaboration with internal/external development partners for electrical hardware components (power supplies, filters, microprocessors, etc.), production integration and with customers regarding electrical design, verification and validation.
- Coordinate and lead team to deliver electronics
- Develop electrical designs according to Schaeffler standard development processes and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: electrical/electronics/mechatronics.
- 3 to 5 years experience working on actuators, controllers, chassis systems or similar products in the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience working in a global team environment
- Project management skills
- Excellent English language/communication skills
- Experience with new and emerging technologies
