About the role
- Provide technical assistance for regional operations and purchasing teams by assisting with industrial engineering projects and process improvements.
- Collaborate on and lead projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs across multiple sites.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing data, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions.
- Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures, workflows, and technical guidelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and supply chain to ensure project alignment and effective communication.
- Monitor project progress and continuously check availability and utilization of capacities, resources, services and materials.
- Evaluate capacities needed and coordinate project planning, staffing and resourcing.
- Responsible for planning and optimizing production systems by applying systematic approaches to boost productivity and profitability.
- Determine and evaluate KPIs for continuous improvement and to guide decision-making.
- Develop programs, statistical reports, budgets and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field and +2 years of experience.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills (written & verbal).
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects and administrative tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with SAP and PowerBI preferred.
