About the role
- Responsibility for monitoring measuring and testing equipment
- This includes defining, creating and approving test instructions and parameters in accordance with applicable regulations and standards
- Inspection of measuring equipment according to test instructions with specified criteria
- Commissioning calibrations at external testing laboratories
- Commissioning repairs of measuring and testing equipment
- Support of metrology in production (e.g., measuring stations)
- Maintenance of the test equipment management system
- Participation in internal and external audits (e.g., customer audits), in compliance with guidelines, procedures and customer requirements
- Preparing metrology equipment for production
- Training and instructing employees
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in a metalworking occupation
- At least 2 years of professional experience in metrology
- Additional qualification as a test equipment representative (e.g., TÜV) desirable
- Knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Willingness and suitability to work in a 3-shift system and on weekends
- Resilience, reliability as well as commitment and willingness to learn
