About the role
- You will become familiar with the diverse responsibilities of an internationally oriented purchasing organization.
- You will contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of purchasing strategies.
- You will participate in organizing and executing complex procurement projects as well as in handling project-related purchasing activities.
- You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, optimize order processing workflows, and implement delivery methods, processes and standards.
- You will support continuous improvement initiatives and best-practice sharing.
Requirements
- University degree with above-average results in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field
- Initial relevant practical experience, ideally in purchasing or supplier management
- Previous international experience is an advantage
- Business-fluent German and very good English skills
- Confident use of common ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Independent, structured working style combined with strong analytical and strategic thinking
- Strong communication skills, enjoyment of teamwork and intercultural collaboration
- High target orientation, strong negotiation skills and convincing presentation abilities
