About the role

  • You will become familiar with the diverse responsibilities of an internationally oriented purchasing organization.
  • You will contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of purchasing strategies.
  • You will participate in organizing and executing complex procurement projects as well as in handling project-related purchasing activities.
  • You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, optimize order processing workflows, and implement delivery methods, processes and standards.
  • You will support continuous improvement initiatives and best-practice sharing.

Requirements

  • University degree with above-average results in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field
  • Initial relevant practical experience, ideally in purchasing or supplier management
  • Previous international experience is an advantage
  • Business-fluent German and very good English skills
  • Confident use of common ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Independent, structured working style combined with strong analytical and strategic thinking
  • Strong communication skills, enjoyment of teamwork and intercultural collaboration
  • High target orientation, strong negotiation skills and convincing presentation abilities
