About the role

  • Introduction to the specific responsibilities of our multidimensional Purchasing & Material Management organization
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of purchasing strategies
  • Analyze procurement markets and support optimization of the sourcing situation
  • Participate in organizing and executing complex procurement projects and in handling project-related purchasing activities
  • Maintain contacts with internal and external stakeholders and interfaces
  • Optimize order processing workflows and capacities, and implement delivery methods, processes and standards
  • Support procurement in analyzing supplier processes to ensure quality and reliability
  • Support continuous improvement processes, best-practice sharing and analysis of existing processes
  • Digitalize business processes and integrate suppliers into online platforms
  • Assist in increasing the sustainability maturity level
  • Work on challenging projects with interdisciplinary tasks

Requirements

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a similar field with above-average academic performance
  • Initial experience—ideally in procurement or supplier management—gained through internships or working-student roles
  • Initial international experience is an advantage
  • Confident user of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) and exposure to ERP systems
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Independent and structured working style, strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Strong goal orientation, negotiation skills and good presentation abilities
  • Enjoy collaborating constructively and communicating within international teams
