About the role

  • Execute the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process for industrial equipment, machine tools, and manufacturing lines.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing global and local partners.
  • Lead commercial negotiations to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), including price, payment terms, warranty, and service level agreements.
  • Draft and finalize legal contracts and purchase orders in compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Technical Investment team and Production Managers to understand technical specifications and project timelines.
  • Monitor global market trends for raw materials and industrial technology to mitigate risks and identify saving opportunities.
  • Maintain accuracy in SAP and provide regular updates on project budgets, savings, and procurement KPIs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial Purchasing, procurement, specifically handling CAPEX or technical investments.
  • Proficiency in SAP (MM module) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and industrial manufacturing processes (specifically related to bearings or automotive components is a plus).
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of German is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional negotiation tactics, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
