About the role

  • Follow up and report on each category/plant cost savings.
  • Track progress on former Ewellix compliancy to Schaeffler requirements.
  • Assist on sourcing decisions process preparation.
  • Provide visibility/reporting on purchasing achievements and KPIs.
  • Regarding all topics managed during interface between BDLM and BIS Supplier & Purchasing performance organization, take ownership of some actions based on demand.
  • Guarantee that supplier quality topics are properly managed by plants.
  • Category management: provide ad hoc support based on specific needs and demands from category managers.

Requirements

  • Can have limited purchasing knowledge and experience.
  • Willing to develop skills in purchasing and strategic sourcing.
  • Engineering background preferred.
  • Product knowledge.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to travel (Limited needs).
