About the role
- Architecting, designing, and maintaining custom tools and middleware to facilitate robust integration between AI agents and company administrative systems
- Leading the development of APIs, connectors, and interfaces to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable communication between systems
- Designing, implementing, and testing sophisticated multi-agent workflows and adaptive decision logic for advanced business scenarios
- Overseeing and guiding other developers, providing mentorship, conducting code reviews, and establishing software development best practices across the team
- Identifying, addressing, and eliminating technical or operational roadblocks to ensure project progress and timely delivery
- Collaborating extensively with AI Prompt & Agent Engineers, Data Engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize system architectures and integration workflows for automation
- Optimizing prompts and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) for domain-specific applications, driving high performance and reliability
- Leading the development of scalable backend services, orchestrating integration across cloud platforms
- Coordinating complex API integrations with external AI platforms, internal AI platforms, and MCP servers to extend system functionality and support innovative solutions
- Advocating for and maintaining rigorous technical documentation and continuous process improvements
- Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the development team and across the organization
Requirements
- Completed studies in one of the following fields: Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or comparable qualifications with corresponding practical experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Software Engineering, including at least 5 years focused on backend development with Python in production environments
- Fluency in both English and Polish, with a minimum of B2 level proficiency
- Knowledge of German is a plus
- Demonstrated experience architecting, developing, and scaling production-grade applications in Python
- Hands-on experience with AI technology, such as AI Agents, RAG, MCP, including quality assurance of AI systems
- Proven experience working with managed cloud services (AWS or Azure), including AI services, storage and databases
- Experience with deployment of containerized applications in scalable cloud environments, e.g., Kubernetes
- Experience managing API integrations and coordinating with external AI platforms and internal systems
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring, guiding, and overseeing other developers to ensure code quality and project delivery
- Open to frequent international business travels (10% of the time)
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in identifying, addressing, and eliminating roadblocks in projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively for cross-functional teamwork (data, workflow, platform)
- Proactive and eager to learn with an innovative and growth-oriented mindset; motivated to champion new technologies and best practices
- Advanced hands-on experience with frameworks for AI agent construction, such as LangChain and LangGraph, or similar is a plus
- Proven track record in designing and implementing complex multi-agent systems and adaptive decision logic is an advantage
- In-depth understanding of prompt engineering techniques and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) for domain-specific tasks is considered an asset
