About the role

  • Provide inside sales support for SSC customers
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Handle supplier complaints
  • Monitor blocked inventory in coordination with the Quality Management (QM) department
  • Enter customer orders in SAP
  • Enter purchase orders in SAP
  • Track delivery dates and follow up on purchase orders
  • Schedule customer delivery dates in coordination with Order Processing (AV) and Production
  • Create customer-specific requirements/specifications for coordination with suppliers
  • Assist in preparing sales statistics and analyses
  • Provide backup coverage for the SSC sales colleague and SSC sales administration

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training, preferably in steel trading or the steel service sector
  • Further qualification as a certified business administrator (Fachkaufmann) or business economist (Betriebswirt) desirable
  • Relevant professional experience in sales within an industrial company
  • Independent, structured and systematic working style
  • Assertiveness and strong self-initiative
  • Strong communication skills and a pronounced ability to work in a team
  • Flexibility and resilience under pressure
