About the role
- Provide inside sales support for SSC customers
- Handle customer complaints
- Handle supplier complaints
- Monitor blocked inventory in coordination with the Quality Management (QM) department
- Enter customer orders in SAP
- Enter purchase orders in SAP
- Track delivery dates and follow up on purchase orders
- Schedule customer delivery dates in coordination with Order Processing (AV) and Production
- Create customer-specific requirements/specifications for coordination with suppliers
- Assist in preparing sales statistics and analyses
- Provide backup coverage for the SSC sales colleague and SSC sales administration
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, preferably in steel trading or the steel service sector
- Further qualification as a certified business administrator (Fachkaufmann) or business economist (Betriebswirt) desirable
- Relevant professional experience in sales within an industrial company
- Independent, structured and systematic working style
- Assertiveness and strong self-initiative
- Strong communication skills and a pronounced ability to work in a team
- Flexibility and resilience under pressure
