About the role

  • Conceptualize, create and maintain operating and maintenance manuals in German for special-purpose machinery using an authoring/content management system
  • Independently research technical issues in coordination with the relevant departments
  • Compile technical documentation for external customers
  • Liaise with translation service providers

Requirements

  • Completed technical vocational training with relevant professional experience; ideally a university degree in Technical Writing/Technical Communication
  • Strong technical understanding
  • Experience preparing graphics, illustrations and images (e.g., using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or comparable software)
  • Ideally experience with an authoring/content management system, preferably SCHEMA ST4
  • Experience with SAP and MS Office
  • Quick comprehension and a structured, analytical and independent working style
  • Affinity for IT tasks and working with technical software
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Excellent written and spoken German
