About the role

  • Provide personal and professional customer consultation for the industrial packaging sales area and the take-back/recycling service for industrial packaging
  • Identify potential customers and establish new business relationships within the defined postal-code regions (Hessen-East, Northern Bavaria, Saxony / prefixes 0, 34, 36, 37 and 9)
  • Conduct technical consultation meetings and present products and services at customer sites
  • Take responsibility for coordinating the handling and response to customer complaints
  • Support customer-specific administrative tasks
  • Contribute to planning sales targets for the assigned postal-code region
  • Collaborate with inside sales, field sales colleagues, other departments and sales management
  • Prepare statistics and analyses for sales management

Requirements

  • Successfully completed commercial vocational training, a commercial degree or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally, sales experience in an industrial environment
  • Technical understanding for complex, solution-oriented products
  • Resilience, strong communication skills, reliability, self-motivation and initiative
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of MS Office and SAP / CRM / BW is desirable
