About the role
- Develop and lead lifecycle marketing strategies focused on onboarding, retention, and maximizing LTV.
- Create, test, and optimize upsell and cross-sell programs across multiple brands.
- Partner with the Director of CRM to build long-term retention strategies and identify growth opportunities within the active customer base.
- Collaborate with analytics, product, and creative teams to uncover insights, identify customer pain points, and design data-driven programs.
- Lead the creation and optimization of automated workflows across channels (email, SMS, push, and in-app).
- Own lifecycle reporting, tracking key retention metrics, churn drivers, and program ROI, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional partners on lifecycle and retention initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to ensure best-in-class execution.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing, ideally in a B2C subscription or e-commerce business.
- Proven track record in retention, churn reduction, and LTV growth.
- Strong experience with upsell, cross-sell, and onboarding programs.
- Experience with an enterprise-level ESP/CRM platform (Iterable, Klaviyo, Sailthru, or similar).
- Strong understanding of automated workflows, segmentation, and dynamic content personalization.
- Solid knowledge of lifecycle and retention metrics, with experience translating data into strategy.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge a plus.
- Strong project management skills (experience with JIRA a plus).
