About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and monitor financial statements, including the Income Statement (P&L), cash flow, and management reports.
- Prepare, maintain, and update financial controls, periodic reports, and performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecast, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing budget reviews and reforecasts.
- Monitor and control costs, expenses, and revenues, ensuring correct classification and compliance with internal policies.
- Track payments and collections, providing support for cash flow management.
- Serve as a primary point of contact with Accounting, Controllership, Tax, and other internal teams.
- Support internal and external audits by organizing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, internal controls, and automation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with deadlines, internal policies, and confidentiality requirements related to financial information.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a financial role at an intermediate (mid-level) analyst position.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, P&L (Income Statement), and cash flow management.
- Fluent English, with the ability to participate in weekly meetings and prepare reports for the U.S. headquarters.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and productivity tools.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Totvs, Protheus, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, organization, and high attention to detail.
- Proactive mindset, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing demands.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
