About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor import processes from the issuance of the purchase order to delivery of the goods at the distribution center;
Verify and control import documentation, including Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, certificates and other required documents;
Register and monitor processes in Siscomex;
Work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, international suppliers and internal departments to ensure operational flow;
Monitor shipments, customs clearance and deliveries, identifying deviations and contributing to the resolution of any incidents;
Oversee tax classifications (NCM), applicable taxes and customs regimes for the operations;
Control costs related to imports, including freight, insurance, storage, fees and taxes;
Maintain systems, spreadsheets and indicators up to date, ensuring the reliability of information and monitoring of operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in import processes, monitoring shipments, customs clearance and delivery of goods;
Knowledge of import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB and related documents);
Basic understanding of customs legislation, tax classification (NCM) and taxes applicable to operations;
Intermediate to advanced English for reading documents and communicating with international suppliers;
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office;
Organized, analytical and detail-oriented profile, with the ability to manage multiple demands and meet deadlines.
