About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and execute the strategic and tactical initiatives for the brands under your management, defining product guidelines and ensuring their implementation throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Serve as the strategic owner of manufacturer relationships, leading alignment meetings, negotiations, site visits, and performance monitoring.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, joint targets, marketing budgets, and potential exclusivity agreements with manufacturers, handling high-value negotiations with significant business impact.
  • Define and monitor pricing, procurement, and product positioning strategies to ensure competitiveness, profitability, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage inventory strategically, validating analysts' data and contributing to turnover, replenishment, and excess-reduction strategies.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies for products and solutions, aligned with business objectives and market demand.
  • Map market trends, competitor movements, and consumer behavior to guide strategy adjustments and pricing lists.
  • Ensure the sales/commercial team is up to date on the portfolio, product positioning, and competitive differentiators.
  • Coordinate and influence the creation of training materials and product presentations for internal audiences (sales) and external stakeholders (resellers and partners).
  • Plan and execute cross-selling initiatives, incentive campaigns, and commercial activities targeting channels and the internal sales team.
  • Validate marketing campaign briefs, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives, target audiences, and business strategy.
  • Monitor and respond to manufacturer-related audits, managing escalation and resolution of any non-conformities.
  • Validate strategic proposals, campaigns, and commercial actions developed by mid-level and junior professionals.
  • Review and validate Part Number entries and other strategic information in the system.
  • Make decisions based on market intelligence, data analysis, performance indicators, and technology trends.
  • Oversee the integration of new manufacturers and conduct onboarding on the Scansource Cloud platform, when applicable.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with distribution channels and commercial partners, when applicable.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Advanced English proficiency for communication and negotiation with international manufacturers.
  • Strong background in product and portfolio management, with strategic vision and a focus on business results.
  • Analytical capability to make data-driven decisions based on metrics and market intelligence.
  • Experience in negotiation, stakeholder relationship management, and leading strategic agendas.
  • Organized profile with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, priorities, and concurrent demands.
