About the role
- Ongoing accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger)
- Review, coding, and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices
- Bank and cash postings as well as account reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Preparation of documentation for the tax advisor
- Travel expense and expense claim processing
- Maintenance and improvement of internal accounting processes
- Optional – Payroll: Preparation and execution of the monthly payroll
- Maintenance of employee master data
- Communication with health insurers, authorities, and the tax advisor
- Support with payroll-related queries
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, additional qualification in accounting, or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in financial accounting
- Confident use of DATEV (FiBu, Mittelstand Faktura)
- Structured, independent, and reliable working style
- Discretion and a sense of responsibility when handling sensitive data
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
