Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance tasks while learning the profession and developing skills for more complex maintenance and repairs
- Support technicians with vehicle maintenance or repair
- Ensure correct stamping of work performed
- Ensure process flow by communicating completed work
- Implement improvement proposals
- Check availability of tools and parts and retrieve them from the warehouse
- Check maintenance information availability
- Apply work methods
- Perform visual vehicle inspections
- Manage deviations
- Wash parts and components
- Start and finalize work orders
- Prepare vehicles or components
- Search for information in the system
- Perform maintenance
- Clean the work area and return used tools
- Communicate completed assignments and deviations to the workshop manager
- Propose solutions
- Follow up on established improvement plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed high school, preparatory, or technical degree
- One year of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of diesel and/or gasoline mechanics
- Knowledge of Scania products and services
- Knowledge of DOS, DCS, SRS, and SHE standards
- Required travel of 0–25%
