About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform administration, maintenance and continuous improvement (SRE) of network and security environments, ensuring availability, performance and security of data communication services in accordance with Scania's global architecture standards and guidelines.
Work on global projects, with organizational reporting in Brazil and functional reporting to Europe.
Diagnose and resolve high-complexity incidents, serving as a technical reference point for the team and supporting related areas in root cause identification and stabilization of environments.
Support audit and compliance processes by providing technical information, evidence and assistance in preparing responses, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality and contributing to risk mitigation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related field.
Advanced English.
Proficiency in VRF-based network segmentation.
Proficiency in OSPF, BGP and MPLS protocols.
Proficiency in SD-WAN networks.
Network capacity planning and optimization using traffic engineering and QoS techniques.
Knowledge of firewall operations.
Minimum of 6 years' experience in network infrastructure and security.
Nice to have:
Fortinet certification.
Knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages for automating network platform routines; infrastructure development profile.
