About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure support to technicians for vehicle maintenance or repair
- Guarantee the correct stamping of the work being performed
- Ensure process flow by communicating that the work has been finished
- Achieve the implementation of improvement proposals
- Check availability of tools and parts to be used, retrieve them from the warehouse
- Check availability of maintenance information
- Ensure application of work methods
- Perform visual inspections of the vehicle
- Manage any deviations that arise
- Wash parts and components
- Start the work order
- Prepare the vehicle or component
- Search for information in the system
- Perform maintenance
- Finalize stamping
- Clean the work area and return used tools
- Finalize work order
- Communicate to the workshop manager that the assignment is finished
- Communicate deviations
- Propose solutions
- Follow up on established improvement plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- One year in a similar position
- Diesel and/or gasoline mechanics
- Knowledge of Scania products and services
- Knowledge of DOS, DCS, SRS, SHE standards
