About the role

  • Translate user needs into actionable requirements and support product owners in refining the backlog
  • Collaborate with external UX team to align research, interaction design and validation across development teams
  • Contribute to strategic and visionary work, bringing the user’s voice into roadmaps, concepts and priorities
  • Work with system and business architects to include usability and design thinking in architectural decisions
  • Communicate UX insights to stakeholders and drive user advocacy in product planning and governance
  • Safeguard quality in user journeys and UX deliverables during implementation
  • Lead and maintain an overarching UX strategy for the workshop suite and cross-brand alignment

Requirements

  • Strong background in UX design, service design, or product design
  • Experience in complex system environments
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration and aligning UX with business and technical needs
  • Skilled in driving user research, synthesizing insights, and translating them into strategic direction and hands-on improvements
  • Comfortable working across abstraction levels from conceptual frameworks to detailed interface feedback
  • Proactive, structured, and passionate about improving user experience at scale
  • Fluency in English required; Swedish considered a plus
  • Experience leading or mentoring other designers or design teams (meriting)
  • Understanding of developer workflows and collaboration in agile/DevOps teams (meriting)
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, UX maturity models, or design systems (meriting)
  • Familiarity with Traton/Scania service processes and workshop tooling is a plus
  • Ability to travel 0-25%
