About the role

  • Steer the credit risk operation within TRATON Financial Services Region Benelux
  • Ensure policies and processes are effectively applied across all markets
  • Maintain balance between solid risk management and ambitious growth
  • Work closely with Scania and MAN Financial Services and with TRATON Group Risk, Finance and Commercial
  • Be part of the Benelux Management Team and collaborate with global TFS teams
  • Assess, approve and monitor credit applications within your mandate
  • Ensure compliance with group policies, processes and relevant laws and regulations
  • Analyse portfolio risk and trends and define and execute mitigating actions
  • (Co-)develop scoring models, risk ratings and decision-making tools
  • Lead the Credit and Collections teams and contribute hands-on to operations and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance/Economics/Business Administration
  • 5+ years of experience in credit risk management (preferably heavy trucks/automotive/leasing/banking)
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Proven portfolio steering and credit policy track record
  • Proficient with digital credit platforms, automation and data-driven risk tools
  • Experience with scoring models, risk ratings and decision-making tools
  • Leadership and coaching experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • High integrity and resilience
  • Strong command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
  • Good command of French is a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the region and across Europe
