About the role

  • Lead and oversee TFS’s global data protection program in line with GDPR and internal policies
  • Advise on international data transfers and compliance cycles
  • Guide the automation of privacy management systems across business units
  • Support risk identification and mitigation through ROPAs and DPIAs
  • Represent TFS in privacy forums across the TRATON and Scania groups
  • Negotiate and advise on privacy agreements internally and externally
  • Train and advise on cybersecurity obligations
  • Support implementation of outsourcing and resilience frameworks and advise on outsourcing agreements and SLAs
  • Drive compliance with the EBA Outsourcing Framework and DORA
  • Provide support during cyber incidents and crisis handling
  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks aligned with the EU AI Act and EU Data Act and embed responsible AI governance
  • Monitor new and evolving EU digital regulations and assess their business impact
  • Guide on antitrust and competition law and engage with TRATON-wide platforms and experts
  • Act as deputy to the Chief Compliance Officer and provide strategic advisory, training, awareness, and governance reporting

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Law or a related field
  • Significant experience in compliance, legal or risk functions
  • Deep knowledge of privacy/data protection (GDPR)
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and obligations (EBA, DORA)
  • Proven ability to navigate and implement complex EU regulations (AI Act, Data Act)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English; other European languages are a plus
  • Leadership experience, including line management
  • Professional certifications desirable (CIPP/E, CISSP, ISO 27001)
  • Experience in automotive, mobility, fintech, or similarly regulated sectors and cross-jurisdictional advisory experience
