Regional Sales Manager
Scania GroupRegional Sales Manager managing and developing the Sales Activity in Gauteng Region. Responsible for promoting and selling new Scania vehicles and services within the designated region.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively manage, lead and develop the Sales Activity within the designated Region’s Sales team
- Plan and lead teams’ performance in order to achieve business objectives
- Develop sales network and uphold a positive brand image
- Create profitability by managing the dealership to meet customer needs and business targets
- Drive a strong commercial focus on EBIT and Capital KPIs
- Communicate defined strategies and targets, action plans and achievement of results
- Coordinate sales; negotiate commercial terms on products, parts and services
- Ensure alignment across the operations
- Manage business planning processes considering market situation and future vision
- Participate and develop new sales and services opportunities
- Encourage entrepreneurship
- Optimize resources and secure harmonized approach in sales processes
- Plan and organize daily operations, ensure targets and results are followed through
- Foster customer orientated mind-set
- Participate in key deals and sales meetings
- Ensure compliance with laws, policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Matric/Grade 12
- Tertiary education in relevant fields: advantageous (Sales/Marketing/Finance)
- Relevant business knowledge and experience (3 - 5 years) in a similar role
- Experience in Financial Contracts (Financing)
- Extensive managerial and leadership experience preferably in (Automotive industry)
- Experience from a position with a large number of direct and indirect reports
- Driver’s license
- Experience in Sales and Service Delivery (DCS)
