About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for Buses, ensuring business development and identification of new market opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with key accounts, operators and public entities, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Develop a multi-segment commercial model, including urban, metropolitan and long-distance solutions.
  • Prepare, analyze and present complex proposals and public tenders, interpreting technical and financial tender specifications.
  • Sell solutions across different technologies (PHEV, BEV, HEV and Diesel), including route analysis and proposals tailored to customer needs.
  • Use Scania systems and tools for vehicle configuration, cost calculation and preparation of commercial proposals.
  • Build strategic relationships with bodybuilders, partners and stakeholders, creating collaboration networks in the Portuguese market.
  • Contribute to the definition and evolution of the product portfolio and to the future commercial structure in Portugal.
  • Work with a high degree of autonomy; preferred residence in Lisbon and reporting to the Iberian structure (Madrid).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Engineering, Management, Sales or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in B2B sales and business development, preferably in the transport sector or industry.
  • Technical-commercial ability to sell complex solutions and alternative technologies.
  • Experience preparing technical and financial proposals and participating in tenders.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish; professional working proficiency in English.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and customer orientation skills.
  • Autonomous, proactive profile with strategic vision.
  • Availability for frequent travel.
  • Valid driving license (category B).
