About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate in the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement (SRE) of network and security environments, ensuring the availability, performance and security of data communication services in accordance with Scania's global architecture standards and guidelines
Diagnose and resolve highly complex incidents, acting as a technical reference point for the team and supporting related areas in identifying root causes and stabilizing environments
Support audit and compliance processes by providing technical information, evidence and assistance in preparing responses, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality and contributing to risk mitigation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Required education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
Advanced English
Proficiency in network segmentation using VRFs
Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP and MPLS protocols
Advanced knowledge of DHCP and DNS protocols
Capacity planning and network optimization using traffic engineering techniques and QoS
Knowledge of implementation and operation of Cisco ACI
Experience in Firewall operation
Minimum 6 years of experience in network infrastructure and security
**Preferred qualifications:**
Cisco CCNP certification
Knowledge of Python or a similar language for automation of network platform routines, infrastructure-as-code or infrastructure development profile
Knowledge of industrial network protocols: Profinet, Modbus, redundancy using REP, PRP, MRP, HSR.
