About the role

  • Development of interior & exterior components: seats, sleeping berths, storage compartments, trims, doors, front grille, bumpers, covers, access steps, fenders, air deflectors, noise absorbers, among others.
  • Advanced engineering studies and 3D modeling of plastic and metal components, including advanced surfaces, based on styling (design) models.
  • Preparation of 3D and 2D technical drawings with the application of dimensions and geometric tolerances (GD&T).
  • Definition of prototype needs, monitoring of functional tests and performance validation.
  • Participation in global forums and technical discussions, working with cross-functional areas such as engineering, ergonomics, industrial design, manufacturing and purchasing.
  • Preparation of Engineering Change Orders and technical specifications for suppliers.
  • Planning and tracking schedules for own activities, acting promptly in case of deviations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related fields.
  • Active CREA registration required (Brazilian Engineering Council).
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in product development companies or suppliers in the automotive sector.
  • Proven experience in developing plastic and metal components for cabins or related products.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 (including Advanced Surface module).
  • Knowledge of product development processes, including technical documentation and supplier interaction.
  • Advanced English (daily communication with global teams).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
  • Communicative, with autonomy and proactivity to seek information, align expectations and reach agreements.
