About the role
- design and develop sheet metal components with integrated electronic systems
- plan and execute tests according to project timelines
- develop prototypes and support testing and validation activities
- communicate effectively with suppliers and external partners
- ensure compliance with standards and Scania’s PD process
- collaborate with software and power electronics engineers to deliver integrated system solutions
Requirements
- several years of experience in product development with broad technical perspective across different R&D domains
- relevant university degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar
- structured and proactive approach to planning and execution
- hands-on experience with testing, prototyping, and validation
- ability to communicate clearly and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- experience working cross-functionally with purchasing, production, and sales & marketing
- experience in early-stage or entrepreneurial settings, preferably within charging infrastructure
