About the role
- Develop, manage, and maintain accurate demand forecasts using advanced statistical tools and market intelligence.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to refine forecasting models.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Sales to prevent and clear excess and obsolete stock.
- Participate in S&OP and S&OE cycles, ensuring alignment and sign-off on demand forecasts.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, service levels, and stockout rates; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Generate and present regular performance reports to management and stakeholders.
- Work with IT and relevant departments to maintain and improve advanced planning solutions.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements in forecasting processes and tools.
- Act as key user for advanced demand planning solutions and train team members on processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineer, Business Administration, or related field.
- Advanced English knowledge.
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management, preferably in consumer goods.
- Proficiency in advanced forecasting tools (preferably o9) and ERP systems (SAP).
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
