About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design robust APIs and contribute to the definition of new service architectures.
- Develop new features and evolve the stack for Load Balancer and Edge Services.
- Manage and optimize the CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring tools.
- Contribute to technical debt management, refactoring, and performance optimization.
- Maintain the existing production stack and resolve complex bugs or technical incidents.
- Perform code reviews and participate in team rituals to foster knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to integrate network products across the Scaleway ecosystem.
- Conduct technical studies and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for emerging network technologies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Golang is the preferred language. You should have at least some hands-on experience with Go, even if your primary language is Python, Rust or C++.
- Good experience in DevOps practices (Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Gitlab CI/CD).
- At ease with Linux operating system: administration, fine tuning, troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Networking fundamentals (TCP, TLS, HTTP, Load Balancing, WAF).
- Experience with database and messaging systems (PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ).
- Familiarity with Observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana).
