About the role

Develop and maintain backend features using Symfony (PHP 7+)
Ensure operational maintenance (MCO) of applications in production
Debug and resolve production incidents in high-availability environments
Contribute to the progressive modernization of a legacy monolith toward modular/microservices architectures
Improve application performance and resilience
Participate in code reviews and enforce backend best practices
Manage deployments through CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)
Work with Docker and DevOps tooling in distributed environments
Collaborate closely with SRE, hardware, support, and billing teams
Participate in the on-call rotation after onboarding

At least 5 years of backend development experience, with significant production exposure to Symfony
Strong expertise in PHP 7+ and Symfony in critical production environments
Proven experience maintaining and evolving legacy applications
Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab CI)
Good knowledge of distributed systems and Linux server environments
