About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Write and maintain automated tests across web and React Native mobile applications (iOS and Android) within our existing WebdriverIO framework
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Run and monitor automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and flag issues proactively
Debug test failures, analyze results, and communicate findings clearly to developers and stakeholders
Collaborate with developers and senior QA to define test strategies for new and existing features
Contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and grooming sessions to ensure adequate test coverage
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and reporting documentation
Support shift-left testing practices to catch issues earlier in the development cycle
Grow your ownership of the automation framework over time with guidance from the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in QA automation or software development
Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO, Playwright, or a comparable modern test automation framework
Familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript in a testing context
Exposure to React Native or mobile application testing is a plus
Experience running automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Mocha, Supertest, Postman, or similar
Working knowledge of Git, GitHub, Jira, and Agile development practices
