About the role
- Develop and execute comprehensive on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies aligned with company goals.
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and content gap assessments.
- Optimize metadata, internal linking, headers, and site architecture for search performance.
- Improve website performance including page speed, Core Web Vitals, crawl depth, and mobile experience.
- Implement structured data and schema markup (JSON-LD).
- Manage robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, and indexation rules.
- Diagnose and fix crawl errors, indexation issues, broken pages, and rendering problems.
- Work directly with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow).
- Make on-site SEO improvements without relying on external agencies.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure SEO best practices in new builds and updates.
- Manage link-building initiatives, outreach, and domain authority growth.
- Monitor backlink health and disavow toxic links when necessary.
- Create SEO dashboards and reports using GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and similar tools.
- Track ranking performance, CTR, impressions, organic conversions, and technical health.
- Deliver clear recommendations based on data, trends, and site performance insights.
- Work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO alignment.
- Provide guidance for content strategy based on keyword research and SERP behavior.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience in SEO strategy and hands-on technical SEO.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms.
- Expertise with GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar tools.
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals, mobile-first indexing, and page experience metrics.
- Familiarity with schema markup, JSON-LD, sitemaps, and robots.txt management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
- Experience in local SEO or multi-location/franchise SEO (Nice to Have).
- Background in development (front-end or back-end) (Nice to Have).
- Google Analytics, Google Ads, or HubSpot SEO certifications (Nice to Have).
- Basic Python or SQL for SEO automation and data analysis (Nice to Have).
