About the role
- Triage and resolve production issues; act as front line and take ownership until fully resolved
- Troubleshoot and fix complex production issues across serverless architecture, Python code, external integrations, and SQL stored procedures
- Support and maintain application health, stability, reliability, and performance
- Improve knowledge base and documentation by documenting solutions and best practices
- Collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders, clearly communicating technical issues and solutions
- Participate in rare "all hands on deck" moments beyond regular hours to resolve critical incidents
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven professional experience in a similar role
- Strong hands-on background in Serverless framework
- Skilled in Python with 3+ years of professional development experience
- Deep understanding of MySQL, especially complex Stored Procedures
- Experience with Vue.js 2 is a significant plus
- Natural problem-solver who enjoys reverse-engineering and troubleshooting
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Adept at using AI tools to expedite development and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
