About the role

  • You will support pre-construction activities for our distributed generation projects, which typically include solar, natural gas generation, and energy storage resources.
  • This hybrid role will report to our Sr. Director of Project Engineering and Preconstruction, and will be based out of our HQ in Ridgewood, NJ.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of experience in Construction Management, general contracting, logistics, engineering, energy industry, with an emphasis on budgeting and cost estimating.
  • Exhibit ability to build and maintain relationships with equipment vendors and contractors, specifically in the electrical construction and distributed energy field.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Work collaboratively and be comfortable interacting with different internal and external customers.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Office Suite tools skills.
