About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct outbound outreach through phone calls, email, and other communication channels to generate new business opportunities.
- Identify and engage prospective customers, referral partners, and strategic business relationships.
- Follow up consistently with inbound and outbound leads to maintain engagement and move opportunities through the pipeline.
- Assist in building and maintaining a steady flow of qualified opportunities for the company.
- Build positive relationships with prospects while maintaining a professional and trustworthy customer experience.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with potential clients while understanding their moving and logistics needs.
- Handle conversations professionally while navigating different customer personalities and objections.
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions, outreach efforts, and follow-up activity within the CRM.
- Track lead progression, pipeline updates, and outreach performance consistently.
- Stay highly organized with daily follow-ups and task management.
- Work closely with the internal team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve outreach messaging, sales workflows, and lead generation processes over time.
- Provide consistent updates regarding pipeline activity and sales progress.
- Maintain strong daily outreach activity and consistent follow-up efforts.
- Stay proactive in identifying new opportunities and areas for business growth.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly outreach and pipeline goals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3+ years of experience in outbound sales, sales development, appointment setting, or business development.
- Previous experience with cold outreach, prospecting, and lead generation.
- Experience working with US-based customers or companies is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience within moving, logistics, home services, or similar industries is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Comfortable spending a large portion of the day communicating with prospects over the phone.
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple conversations and opportunities simultaneously.
- Proficiency using CRM systems and sales tools.
- Relationship-driven and naturally personable.
- Persistent without being overly aggressive.
- Self-starter with a proactive and goal-oriented mindset.
- Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while staying highly organized and accountable.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
