About the role

  • Assist with setup, configuration, and migration of client workloads to Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • Troubleshoot help desk tickets related to SharePoint, Office 365, Azure, Hyper-V, and clustered server environments.
  • Resolve issues remotely using screen sharing and remote access tools.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Document all work performed in the ticketing system and ensure it is consistently updated.
  • Monitor and manage server performance, applying corrective measures as needed.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in IT/Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 2+ years in an MSP or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint and Office 365 environments.
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Experience with NOC monitoring tools (preferably ConnectWise Automate).
  • Proficiency in backup systems, including Azure Backup.
  • Experience with Windows Patch Management systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, persistence, and strong time management skills.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) (Preferred but not required).
  • Relevant Microsoft 365 or Azure certifications
