About the role
- Assist with setup, configuration, and migration of client workloads to Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.
- Troubleshoot help desk tickets related to SharePoint, Office 365, Azure, Hyper-V, and clustered server environments.
- Resolve issues remotely using screen sharing and remote access tools.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Document all work performed in the ticketing system and ensure it is consistently updated.
- Monitor and manage server performance, applying corrective measures as needed.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in IT/Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 2+ years in an MSP or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint and Office 365 environments.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
- Experience with NOC monitoring tools (preferably ConnectWise Automate).
- Proficiency in backup systems, including Azure Backup.
- Experience with Windows Patch Management systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, adaptability, persistence, and strong time management skills.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) (Preferred but not required).
- Relevant Microsoft 365 or Azure certifications
