About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Keep assigned GMP areas clean and orderly
  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Perform work assignments and repetitive tasks in a team
  • Maintain clean work areas and take direction from supervisors
  • Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers
  • Support the shift lead with punch-list items, work orders, and internally identified items
  • Use proper personal protective equipment
  • Perform sanitization duties in a GMP-controlled environment
  • Follow customer and SBM SOPs and procedures
  • Respond professionally to customer requests
  • Complete cleaning assignments including walls, floors, windows, wipe-downs, maintenance issue reporting, and shutdown cleaning
  • Complete daily FN logs accurately and completely
  • Act as area fill-in during general staff shortages
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and use cleaning compounds and chemicals safely

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license
  • Completion of all safety and task training certifications
  • May be required to be forklift certified
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment upkeep, cleaning compounds, and chemical safety
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
  • Must complete gowning, basic training, annual qualification, and chemical safety certifications
  • Sunday–Thursday availability, 7:00pm–3:30am shift
