About the role
- Provide technical expertise to offshore team and other departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage technical resources and processes for maintenance and repair.
- Offer technical recommendations to enhance operability and optimize control device performance.
- Support compliance with regulatory agency audits and internal audits.
- Contribute to Strategy and Governance by implementing best practices.
- Drive inventory of parts and tools, ensuring availability.
- Assist in Start-Up and Shut-Down procedures.
- Support Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and propose actionable plans.
- Manage results of Predictive Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Support the Supply Chain in evaluating technical proposals.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering graduation
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience with failure analysis and root cause investigation techniques.
- Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise asset management systems.
- Good familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Experience working in a Shorebase environment.
- Vibration analysis certification is desired.
- CREA active (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Arquitetura (Architecture and Civil Engineering Regional Council))
