About the role

  • Scripting, filming, editing and production of in-studio, on-site and remote video projects
  • Ideation, scripting, production and editing of high-quality audio content
  • Manage audio recording sessions, ensuring technical and creative excellence
  • Reimagining long-form content (audio or video) into shorter, engaging pieces
  • Research and write engaging content tailored to SBC’s network of B2B news websites
  • Develop multimedia-rich stories by combining written text with visuals, video snippets, and infographics
  • Creating and editing content snippets for social media platforms
  • Write and edit captions, headlines, and summaries for social media posts promoting content
  • Review multimedia output for consistency, brand alignment, and technical quality
  • Analyse audience metrics to refine content strategies

Requirements

  • Degree level qualification in journalism / multimedia journalism
  • Strong Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition skills
  • Exceptional writing skills and news judgement
  • Experience presenting on screen
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Accurate spelling, grammar and punctuation both when writing and when proof reading
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and a keen interest in the latest relevant technology and trends
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Ability to grasp complex issues quickly and explain them in simple, concise language
  • Naturally creative and ready to contribute ideas
